Dr. Joseph Gallagher is a Board Certified Surgeon with over 25 years of surgical experience. He personally has experience with thousands of successful transplants for people from around the world. Dr. Gallagher attended St. Joseph's University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. His surgical residency was performed at Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr. Gallagher served as a Captain two years active duty in the United States Army Medical Corp at Brooke Army Medical Center and in reserves for 4 yrs. He currently is a volunteer in the U S Navy-Marine Corps..

After a successful career as an Orthopedic Surgeon where he specializing in micro-vascular hand surgery and earned recognition as Orthopedic Surgeon of The Year, Dr. Gallagher set his sights on the more artistic and dynamic specialty of Hair Restoration. Upon making this decision, Dr. Gallagher served an eight month Fellowship in Surgical Hair Restoration in Beverly Hills and in New York City. He then taught his previous teachers about his new innovative techniques in this field. Following this, he was appointed the Medical Director for one of the world's largest hair restoration clinics After careful consideration, Dr Gallagher came to the conclusion that the best results could be attained with him doing the entire procedure devoting his time to one patient rather than multiple surgeries per day.
