Type 6 Baldness Pattern

6

The type 6 Baldness Pattern is
characterized by extensive hair loss
with limited, yet viable donor area.
Patients that are classification 6 can have a full front but must accept a bald or thinning crown due to lack of donor hair.
 
Patient NHI has a class 6 pattern (bald in the crown and through the front).  He has extremely fine donor hair.  Dr. Gallagher chose a conservative restoration program for NHI due to limitations in the donor region.  NHI received approximately 1500 Micro Follicle Grafts in the front and top.  He is still bald in the crown area but looks much younger due to his restored natural hair line.
